My name is Malcolm Sturdevant, and I co-founded Savannah Untold to tell Savannah’s real stories they way they deserve to be told.

With a background in both professional acting and professional research, I came to Savannah and discovered a city whose true history — its crimes, its literary and film legacy, the overlooked people who shaped the city — was far more compelling than what most visitors ever hear. So I built tours around it.

Every tour I lead is research-rooted and story-driven. I don’t recite facts; I bring them to life. When you’re out in the squares with me, you’re not getting a highlight reel. You’re getting the full story, told with depth and care.

When I’m not walking the city, you can often find me performing with professional theater groups like the historic Savannah Theatre, Savannah Stage Company, and more.
